About Gertie Grant

Gertie Grant is all set to find her forever home! After coming in sick and scared, she has turned into a loving companion. Now nearly 3 years old, she's learned to trust and enjoys being held, especially when it's accompanied by gentle pets and some affectionate scratches. She arrived at a shelter with many other cats needing help, and she's been waiting patiently in her foster home for the right match. Gertie is a shy girl initially, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She underwent surgery to correct inward-growing eyelashes, leaving her with a slight scar on her right eye, but this hasn’t affected her vision or spirit. Gertie gets along well with other cats and would appreciate a buddy to join her in her new home. She loves lap time and will sweetly nudge you for more affection. Gertie has a healthy appetite for both shredded canned food and dry kibble. Gertie's adoption fee is $100. Reach out to meet this lovely lady!
