Now it's Athena's turn to be spoiled and loved. She adores playing fetch and would thrive in a fenced yard where she can be active with her humans. Athena is smart, playful, and would do best in an active household that enjoys outdoor fun. Although she's friendly, she is dog-selective; she tends to get along well with some dogs but prefers to be the only dog in the household unless a potential companion is introduced properly. No cats for this girl, please. An ideal match would include older, considerate children who can appreciate her unique personality. Athena has a history that has shaped her gentle demeanor. She was rescued from a domestic violence situation and still carries a scar on her face as a reminder of her past. Despite her experiences, she is loving and enjoys human company, although she may be a little cautious around men initially. With patience and kindness, she'll warm up.
