About Winston

Meet Winston, the spunky little buddy who’s come a long way since arriving at the rescue. Previously adopted and returned three times, he needed a stable environment, and now he's thriving in his foster home. At about 2 years old and around 18 lbs, Winston will require regular grooming, so be sure to have a groomer lined up. Winston has been making strides in his training. He enjoys his crate and responds to several basic commands. He’s mostly housebroken, but occasionally has nighttime accidents. Living with a large labrador and two cats, he gets along well with his canine brother and has formed a good relationship with one of the cats. However, he can be quite reactive to dogs passing by, so ongoing training is beneficial for managing his focus. An agile fellow, Winston needs a secure yard to prevent any escape attempts. He can be vocal and playful, but he’s also a champion snuggler. Kids in the home should be over 10 due to his mouthy play style.
