Meet Berkley, the happiest girl you'll ever encounter. After enduring far too much in her past, she wakes up daily with a joyful wiggle and an open heart ready to love. Left behind as a nursing mama in Texas, she miraculously escaped a high-kill shelter just moments before her fate was sealed. Berkley’s journey continued as she faced heartworm treatment and a TPLO surgery, both of which she eagerly overcame. Finished with her final heartworm treatment in July, she's now resting and awaiting her retest in April. Despite all she's been through, Berkley radiates joy. She's never let misfortune dull her spirit. She loves being around people and adores her stuffed toys, which bring her endless happiness. Whether going for car rides, soaking up the sun, or exploring Bomgaars with her favorite humans, Berkley is driven by joy. For now, she's still recovering and hasn’t been officially tested with other dogs, although she has shown friendly behaviors during nose-to-nose encounters on leash. With everything this girl has faced, she now deserves to find her forever home—a place where she can enjoy every sunny day, feel safe, and know true love.
