About Ducky
Ducky is a charming 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier weighing in at just 6 lbs. After his previous owner couldn't devote enough time to him, he found his way to rescue, where his lively personality quickly wins hearts. This little guy is playful and enjoys life to the fullest. He adores his humans and has a quirky way of showing it; when he managed to sneak under the gate, he ran straight to the front door to announce his presence. Ducky has adjusted well to his new environment and is looking for a quiet home where someone is home often. He’d thrive in a setting with someone who works from home or is retired, becoming that perfect daily companion. Ducky is crate and potty trained, though he might have a few accidents as he settles in. He walks nicely on a leash but prefers to be carried. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, and while he hasn't been tested with cats, his friendly demeanor suggests he'd probably do well with dog-friendly ones. We recommend a home with older children (12+) due to his small size. Ducky is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and currently on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is waived, making this wonderful little guy an even more appealing choice. Ready to bring Ducky into your life? Click apply to start the adoption process.
