Mouse is a sweet and gentle senior cat who’s looking for a soft place to land. She was surrendered to Laps and Naps when her owner transitioned to assisted living. Although not bonded with her companion Midnight, Mouse shines as her own cat, described by her foster mom as a “perfect little angel baby.” When she first arrived, Mouse needed some extra care to free her from fleas, but she has made a great recovery. At 12 years and 9 months old, she's considered a large cat and is on the heavier side, so she will need a carefully managed diet of wet food to help her slim down and stay healthy. Currently, Mouse is living in a loving foster home in Black Mountain, NC, and she’s fully house trained and vaccinated. She’s ready for a new home where she can be cherished.
