About Lani
Meet Lani, our beautiful German Shepherd who has recently arrived in Missouri after her journey from California. This lovely 5-year-old girl weighs around 46 pounds and boasts a stunning light blonde coat accented by delicate black markings. Lani is a smaller, more feminine shepherd, and she has a calm and gentle demeanor. Initially, she came to the shelter as a stray in January, and her time there was a bit overwhelming for her. Lani prefers to take her time, often stepping back to observe rather than seeking attention from passersby. Her shelter notes aptly described her as "go slow, nervous," which truly captures her sensitive nature. We're committed to giving Lani the time she needs to decompress and show us her true self, which we believe is quite special. A nurturing foster home would be ideal, where she can feel secure and learn about family life at her own pace. Of course, adoption applications are welcome too! We're thrilled to have Lani with us at Journey Home, and we are ready to support her as she starts her new life. Welcome to Missouri, Lani, you're safe now. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
