Ammo is a medium-sized, male German Shorthaired Pointer. He is 5 years old with a short, brown/chocolate coat. This active dog is house trained, vaccinated, and altered, weighing between 40-60 lbs. Heโ€™s looking for a loving home with plenty of outdoor space to play and thrive.

About Ammo

Ammo is a high-energy, 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who came to us due to changes in his owner's family. He's a playful chap, eager to engage with other dogs, and would thrive in a home with a similarly active canine companion. Since Ammo can play rough, he may need a gentle reminder to tone it down sometimes. Heโ€™s house trained, uses a remote collar well, and enjoys spending his days outdoors exploring and running around. A large, securely fenced yard is a must, as he's a skilled fence jumper. While he canโ€™t be crated, Ammo is trustworthy left in a dog-proofed area for up to four hours. He has a good grasp of basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. Ammo is great with older children but needs a home free of cats and fowl. If youโ€™re considering adoption, please ensure you have a fenced yard and are located in New England. Make Ammo a part of your family by applying to adopt!
