Meet Gilligan Puppy, the newest tiny member of our foster family, currently in Plano, TX. This affectionate four-month-old male Chihuahua is about 4.5 pounds of pure joy, with a bright white coat and a personality that stands out. He truly lives up to the name “Little Buddy.” While Gilligan thrives in a home with other small dogs, he’s not suited for larger dogs or homes with children. Gilligan has come a long way since being surrendered. He’s playful, energetic, and has started mastering potty training. He's learning to use potty pads and is gradually getting the hang of the doggy door under supervision. Regular potty breaks and a consistent schedule will help him continue this progress. Fostering this little guy comes with responsibilities. He needs a secure, fenced yard to keep him safe from potential dangers, and he’ll always require supervision when outdoors. His new family should be ready to offer plenty of chew toys and positive reinforcement as he grows into his playful nature. While he hasn’t started leash training just yet due to his vaccination schedule, he’s eager to learn and explore. As a small breed, the commitment to Gilligan’s care can last 15-20 years. We are looking for a family excited to guide him through every stage of his life, from his playful puppyhood to his senior years. Gilligan will be neutered and fully vetted by early October but can start connecting with potential adopters now. Your next adventure awaits with Gilligan.
