About Rasmus

Rasmus dreams of a perfect day filled with a nice walk, playful moments, and endless cuddles. This lovable boy thrives on affection and loves being close to his humans. Just weeks ago, he was found wandering around a local elementary school, struggling and underweight. Fortunately, he has gained 8 pounds already and enjoys a caring environment with good food and lots of love. Affectionately named Rasmus, which means "beloved and devoted," this 5-year-old German Shepherd mixed breed is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He's house trained and enjoys leash walks, exhibiting a keen eagerness to learn. His heartworm treatment is underway, with expenses covered, so he’s on the path to a full recovery. Rasmus has a soft spot for kids and fits well with families, but due to his exuberance, we recommend homes with children aged 10 and up. He also interacts well with other dogs; slow introductions will help him continue learning his manners. Rasmus just wants to be someone's beloved companion, pouring love and devotion into his forever home. Ready to give Razz the life he deserves? Apply to adopt at BigLoveRescue.org.
