About Winston

Meet Winston! This friendly 7 to 8 month old, 50-pound Shepherd mix radiates joy wherever he goes. Winston adores spending time with his furry and human companions alike—he gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. His love for cuddles and companionship makes him the perfect family pet. Winston is one of the few puppies saved from a litter at a San Bernardino shelter. While he has fully recovered from distemper, he does experience some lasting neurological effects, such as occasional involuntary twitching in his jaw, face, and back legs. Despite these quirks, he remains an endlessly happy and playful pup. Winston is eager to find a forever home filled with love and understanding. After all he’s been through, he deserves a compassionate family who will accept him as he is. Companion friends are a bonus to have around! Currently fostered in Palm Desert, California, he is available for adoption anywhere in the USA. Your new best friend awaits!
