Meet Afton, a sweet 6-year-old Siberian Husky with a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. She came to Beagles and Bentleys after being surrendered, along with her puppies, to a shelter in Lincoln County, NC. Afton is spayed, vaccinated, and currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which will be covered for her new adopter. Afton has a calm and goofy personality. She enjoys lounging in her bed while her foster watches TV or relaxing in the yard while someone works. Loud thunderstorms can unsettle her, and she seeks comfort from her foster during those times. Afton is house trained and crate trained, loves to be outdoors, and does well on a leash. She's also shown great manners by knowing how to sit! While Afton is working on gaining some weight, her foster is committed to helping her reach a healthy size. She's friendly with other dogs and has been great with every person she's met. One of her favorite activities is being brushed, and Afton will surely bring joy and love to her future home. Afton is fostered in Richmond, VA. The adoption fee is $375.
