About Bear

Meet Bear. Bear is a big teddy bear of a dog with an even bigger heart. This affectionate boy thrives on being close to his people, happiest when curled up next to you on the couch. A sensitive soul, he forms deep bonds with his family and loves participating in everyday life. Bear is doing wonderfully at home. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps soundly on his dog bed. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys toys, bones, and rolling in the snow during his daily walks. He walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands like sit and shake, always eager to learn more. True to his Great Pyrenees nature, Bear enjoys exploring and meeting new friends. He’ll need a securely fenced yard, ideally with a taller fence to keep him safe while he wanders about. Like many young dogs, Bear is still learning his manners. He’s food-motivated and may check counters for snacks if food is left unattended. In his excitement, he sometimes forgets his size and may jump up to say hello. He loves being close to his people and doesn’t quite grasp the concept of personal space, which means he has an abundance of love to give! Bear would thrive in a family willing to continue guiding him as he learns the ropes. In return, he’ll be a loyal companion, eager to love and be loved. Ready to meet your new best friend?
