About Forrest
Forrest is an incredibly handsome Cavalier with a heart full of love. Rescued in March 2026, he has transformed into a gentle companion. Formerly a breeding dog, he now enjoys life in a loving foster home and revels in outdoor time, especially when the weather is nice. He thrives around other Cavaliers and is known to be a total love bug. While Forrest does have a grade III heart murmur and is in stage B1 MVD, he does not currently need cardiac medication. His dental health required serious attention, leading to multiple extractions, but this hasn't hindered him; he enjoys nutritious meals with his kibble softened in warm water. Forrest is learning to navigate stairs with ease, though he remains a bit unsure about leash walks and can be nervous around loud noises like fireworks. To ensure he continues to flourish, he requires a physically fenced yard—no invisible or electric fencing for him. Ideally, he would love a home with another canine partner and a financially stable family prepared for his ongoing cardio care. Forrest has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $500 plus tax. He, like many siblings in rescue, may take extra time to acclimate to his new home environment, but with patience and love, he'll be a wonderful addition to any family.
