About Max

Meet Max! Max is a handsome Labrador mix searching for a loving, active home. After being with his owner for six years, he was surrendered when his owner became homeless. He spent some time chained outside before being reclaimed, taking a while to adjust. Now, Max is thriving in foster care. This fun-loving boy adores tennis balls and fetch. He'll retrieve his ball, drop it at your feet, and eagerly await another throw. Max would thrive in a home with a large yard where he can run and play. He enjoys car rides and needs a bit of leash training since he tends to pull while walking. Max gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived with a cat. He has interacted positively with older children in his previous apartment complex but hasn't been around younger kids. He needs a family that can give him time to settle in, along with plenty of exercise and love. Click apply to start the adoption process.
