Eloise, or Elle as her friends call her, is a 2-year-old pit bull/rat terrier mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of affection. Arriving at the shelter as a stray in May, she has patiently awaited a loving home to call her own. Elle is house trained and crate trained, handling her alone time without any destructive behavior. Instead, she prefers to curl up on the couch and catch some well-deserved z's. Elle gets along well with dogs, cats, and children; a slow introduction is always best to ensure a smooth adjustment. Though initially shy, she quickly warms up with a little reassurance. Elle is a great travel companion, enjoys her leash walks, and loves being close to her people. Elle truly embodies sweetness. She thrives in a patient and loving environment that can help her gain confidence. In return, Elle offers unwavering loyalty and the sweetest companionship.
