About Milo

Meet Milo! This adorable, approximately 5-year-old Dachshund mix weighs in at a perfect 14 pounds. With short legs, a cheerful smile, and personality-packed ears, he’s hard not to love. Whether they’re standing upright or flopping out to the side, those ears are sure to bring a smile to your face. Milo has some great companion-dog skills; he rides well in the car and walks nicely on a harness and leash. He’s been trained to use pee pads but is also happy to potty outside. His previous rescue mentioned he gets along well with small dogs, though larger dogs can intimidate him. He’s a bit cautious when meeting new people, but once he warms up, you’ll see his affectionate side shine. At a recent adoption event, Milo took some time to get comfortable, but once he did, he embraced attention and showed how lovable he can be. This little guy adores laps, belly rubs, treats, and squeaky toys. He prefers to be by your side rather than in a crate, so he’s the perfect companion for someone who enjoys cozy moments. At just 14 pounds, Milo is wonderfully portable, making him an ideal sidekick. Don’t miss out on the chance to meet him and experience his vibrant personality.
