He needs a patient adopter who understands that he's not a "plug-and-play" dog; he requires guidance and consistency as he continues to explore his new world. The good news? He’s making fantastic progress every day. This little guy adores his foster family's three resident dogs. He thrives on their companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help show him the ropes. Alvin loves being close to his people, whether curled up beside them on the couch or quietly following them around the house. Alvin has a few physical reminders from his past—missing several teeth due to periodontal disease and a cauliflower ear from an old injury—but these quirks only add to his charm.
