Clara Belle is a bit shy, but so sweet and full of energy. Her situation in life changed when she was almost abandoned, but thankfully, a Good Samaritan stepped in. She’s lived successfully with cats and kids, although a home with older children would be best. Her herding instincts might become an issue as she grows, especially around smaller children. Clara Belle loves to play, especially with her Great Dane foster sister, Nova, displaying a playful spirit despite her small 20-pound frame. While she barks occasionally and gets a bit nippy when excited, this is part of her herding nature, not aggression. She’s in the process of learning house training and how to walk nicely on a leash. Clara Belle will settle down for cuddles when she's ready, showing both sass and sweetness. She needs an active family ready to provide her with plenty of exercise and engagement.
