About Freckles

Freckles is a sweet young lady looking for a loving home. Alongside her sister Confetti, they share a deep bond and ideally, would love to be adopted together. However, they can thrive separately if there’s another confident dog around. These sisters are currently in a unique program at Paws in Prison, where they'll graduate in mid-October after receiving daily training from inmate trainers. They’ve come a long way since being rescued from the woods, and while they are still a bit timid, their affectionate nature shines through. Freckles is around 5 months old and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely weighing between 50-60 pounds. She loves being held and has made significant progress in overcoming her past neglect and insecurities. Both girls are crate trained, behaving remarkably well without any accidents or noise. They enjoy cuddling more than playing and thrive in a calm environment. Freckles is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and currently on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She is located in Alexander, AR, and can be adopted locally or transported to the New England region on a Saturday with prior arrangements. By adopting Freckles, you’ll not only gain a loyal companion but also help her continue to blossom into a confident dog. Click apply to start the adoption process.
