Charlie, also known as Birch, has quite the story to tell. After being adopted in May, he faced a life-threatening situation when he swallowed a small plastic cap due to a lapse in care. Thankfully, a compassionate vet recognized his plight and contacted us instead of proceeding with euthanasia. One of our dedicated fosters immediately stepped in to ensure Charlie got the emergency care he needed. Charlie underwent laser surgery, a less invasive procedure, allowing him a swift recovery. This little fighter is now with a loving foster home, eager for his forever family. He gets along well with dogs and children, which makes him an excellent companion.
