About Kira

Meet Kira! This delightful 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier originally came to us as a young pup in 2022 and found a home quickly. However, just a few years later, we discovered her at a local shelter after her owners surrendered her. We immediately brought her back into our care, committed to giving her the forever home she deserves. Kira is a gentle, loving soul who is still taking her time to adjust after her experiences. Though she’s a bit shy, she’s friendly and walks well on a leash. Kira is house trained and generally well-mannered, but she can be protective of her home. Continued training will help her with this aspect of her behavior. While Kira does not get along with cats or other dogs, she has a soft spot for everyone she meets. It's clear she’s ready to transform back into the happy, loved girl she was always meant to be. We promised Kira that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
