About Kira

Meet Kira! This precious 5-year-old Pitt Bull Terrier mix came to us after being surrendered by her owner. Originally adopted as a young pup in 2022, Kira found herself back in a local shelter, and we couldn’t resist welcoming her back into our care. Kira is a loving, mellow girl who is still easing into her new situation and remains a tad shy. She walks well on a leash, is housetrained, and has good manners. While Kira can be a bit protective of her home, she has a soft spot for everyone she meets and is ready to blossom into the happy companion she was meant to be. However, Kira does not get along with cats or other dogs, so she would thrive best as the only pet in a loving home. We are devoted to giving Kira the best life possible. Could you be the one?
