Nilla NH’s journey began just eight miles from the Mexico border, where this petite senior Chihuahua was discovered wandering the streets with another dog. They displayed remarkable survival skills, evading capture for weeks until animal control finally rescued them. Now safe, Nilla is uncovering her gentle spirit underneath that street-smart exterior. She's a sweetheart, showing affection for belly rubs and getting along well with other dogs. While we're still getting to know her fully, Nilla's warm personality shines through. Her companion has been adopted, and now it’s Nilla’s turn to find her forever home. We don’t know much about Nilla’s past, but she’s ready to embrace a brighter future. At this stage of her life, we envision her enjoying the simple pleasures—finding the coziest spot on the couch, keeping an eye on your snacks, and gently reminding you when it’s time for some belly rubs. After a life on the streets, Nilla deserves to be pampered. Currently fostered in Bryan, Texas, distance shouldn’t hold you back. We provide nationwide transport to a nearby major city for an additional $250, making it easy for the right family to bring her home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
