About Nilla RI

Nilla's story began just eight miles from the Mexico border, where this little senior Chihuahua roamed the streets alongside another Chihuahua. It took animal control a couple of weeks to capture them, but Nilla proved she has strong survival instincts. Now safe, Nilla is revealing her sweet nature. She's affectionate, enjoys belly rubs, and does well with other dogs. As we discover her personality, she consistently shows that she craves love and attention. With her companion adopting already, it’s time for Nilla to find her forever home. While we can only wonder about her past, that doesn’t stop her from looking ahead with hope. We envision Nilla spending her days on the couch, enjoying snacks, or cozying up with a warm blanket. She’s ready for a life of comfort and love. Currently fostered in Bryan, Texas, we provide nationwide transport for an additional $250 to connect her with her new family. Don’t hesitate to make Nilla part of your adventure.
