About Gilbert

Gilbert is a charming Chi/Pittie puppy, one of nine siblings rescued from an outdoor backyard at just eight weeks old. Now settling into foster care in Verona, NJ, he’s learning the ropes of housebreaking while being crate trained and enjoying his downtime in a cozy space. This little guy has an infectious curiosity, especially when meeting new people. In playtime, Gilbert gathers his favorite crinkly paper toys and loves a good romp with stuffed animals. He shares his foster home with a playful cat, with whom he enjoys racing around and having a blast. After all that fun, he happily crashes for a nap before bouncing back into action. Although not yet neutered, Gilbert is up to date on vaccinations. Because he’s part of a licensed rescue, those who adopt him can have him neutered for just $20 through a local program, making it easy to ensure he receives proper care.
