About Miley

Miley is a lovely black Pug who shows that the sweetest dogs just need a little time to thrive. At two years old, she had led a very sheltered life, unfamiliar with many things that other dogs experience. Leashes, car rides, toys, and the great outdoors were all new to her. Thanks to a caring foster home, Miley is now beginning to enjoy the joys of being a dog. Initially, Miley found the world overwhelming and was quite nervous around strangers. However, she's blossoming with the patience of her foster family, who have gently introduced her to new experiences. Though she may always be somewhat sensitive, particularly with new people, Miley is learning that the world doesn’t have to be scary. Trust is key for her, and she thrives in a stable environment where she can safely explore. Her foster family praises her as one of the easiest dogs to care for once she overcomes her initial jitters. She gets along well with other dogs and has come to love simple pleasures like soft beds and a little cheese now and then. For her future family, it’s important to create a safe and predictable environment. Miley should be securely leashed outside until she learns to trust her new home. This is a chance for Miley to explore the world she’s missed out on, like walks and adventures, all at a comfortable pace for her. With time and understanding, she will show her incredible loyalty.
