About Nora

Nora is one of the joyful Plott Hound sisters who was saved from a high-kill shelter. At around 8 months old and approximately 40 pounds, she embodies the spirit of a puppy getting to experience love for the first time. After spending much of her young life in an outdoor kennel, Nora has been slowly learning what it means to be part of a family. She's calm and sweet when she's not in the kennel, craving affection and eager to discover the joys of a home. Unlike some of her more reserved sisters, Nora is braver and more outgoing. She thrives with the company of other dogs and has shown her ability to get along with them as well as children. However, she might still need a little guidance with basics like house training and leash walking. Her foster has taken the time to introduce her to indoor living, and while progress is being made, future adopters should be ready to support her as she continues to adjust. While there are cats around, her interactions have been limited, so it's unsure how she would fare living with them. Nora and her sisters have journeyed from being abandoned puppies to loving companions ready to embrace a stable life filled with soft beds, adventures, and belly rubs.
