Spencer was rescued from Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park, where he struggled to stay afloat. After a tough start at the shelter, he was taken in by Hair of the Dog Rescue, where he has been learning to trust again. Spencer enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings and loves zooming around the yard. He's adapting well to his new surroundings and is slowly warming up to his foster family. He thrives in an adult-only home where another dog can offer him the confidence boost he needs. While he can be a bit skittish around new faces initially, a little patience and some tasty treats can make all the difference. Spencer is crate trained and has excellent potty habits but will need a securely fenced outdoor space to explore and play.
