Though he arrived at the shelter with his companion, Luna Estrella, Shadow is also open to finding a loving family on his own. In his previous home, he lived comfortably with a 6-year-old child and showed a gentle disposition. While he hasn't lived with cats before, he has experience using pee pads for house training. Transitioning from that to outdoor pottying will take some patience and understanding, so adopters should be prepared for a little extra care during this adjustment period. Shadow can be shy around new people, but with time and a bit of patience, he warms up beautifully. It's important for his new family to ensure he has enough time to relax and acclimate. As he gets to know his new environment, gradually introducing him to new experiences will help build his confidence. Shadow is available for pre-adoption and can go home after his neuter surgery.
