Banks is a lovely adult female Great Pyrenees weighing around 40 pounds. Sporting a long coat in a beautiful white and cream, she is house trained, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Located in Quitman, TX, this sweet girl is looking for a patient heart to continue her journey towards a safe, loving forever home.

About Banks

Banks has come a long way from the scared, starving girl we met. Initially, she struggled to trust anyone, despite efforts made by a local bank to feed her. When we took her in, she was fearful and reluctant, even at the vet. We spent time outside, easing her fears with patience and love. At 40 pounds, heartworm positive, and covered in fleas, she was in need of extensive care. We started her on treatment while working to help her regain strength. Surprisingly, even though she was underweight, she's a bit picky with food. Once you earn her trust, Banks reveals her incredibly sweet and loyal nature. She's great with other rescue dogs and would shine as the focal point of a loving home. Walks bring her joy; she even skips when excited. Her favorite buddy, Jack, tags along, and she adores looking into your eyes for hugs. Though she finds going inside homes a bit daunting, she swiftly relaxes in her space once settled down. Each day, Banks becomes a little braver, and all she needs is someone patient to show her she is safe and loved. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
