Leo is a small male Chihuahua and Terrier mix, approximately 3 months old. He is not yet altered, but his vaccinations are up to date. He is not house trained yet, but with patience, he’ll learn. Leo is currently in Gainesville, VA.

About Leo

Meet Leo, a tiny survivor with the softest heart. At just 3 months old and under 5 pounds, he’s already faced challenges most dogs never do. Having battled Parvo and come out on top, Leo now deserves the joys of puppyhood. This little Chihuahua Terrier mix is expected to stay under 25 pounds when fully grown. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and, once he feels safe, his delightful personality shines through. While he may watch from a distance at first, he quickly warms up and is ready for cuddles and playtime. For now, Leo can safely live with fully vaccinated adult dogs and is completely safe around cats. However, until mid-October, he should avoid unvaccinated puppies and public dog areas. This is merely a precaution following his recovery. Leo’s wish list includes a warm bed, lots of toys, and a family to love and nurture him. He fought hard to stay here, and now he just needs someone to make all his struggles worth it. If you’re ready to welcome Leo into your home, please reach out! His adoption fee is $600, which includes a spay/neuter contract for when he turns six months. Once proof of neutering is provided, $100 will be refunded from the adoption fee.
