Meet Yuca! This sweet and gentle girl is looking for a patient family ready to help her feel safe and secure in her new home. Yuca is very shy around new people and pets, preferring to observe from a cozy hiding spot until she feels comfortable. Once she opens up, her curious and playful nature shines through, especially when exploring the outdoors. Yuca loves spending time outside and is currently doing well with crate training. She’s comfortable in her crate but is still learning to walk on a leash. Progress is being made, and with a bit more practice, she will get the hang of it. Yuca is also working on her potty training, requiring a family that can commit to being patient and consistent in her training. This little girl needs a family who understands her slow-to-warm-up personality. With a nurturing environment where she can take her time, Yuca will know she has finally found her forever home.
