About Chess

Meet Chess, a delightful young female Domestic Short Hair who is all set for adoption with her sister, Checkers, from Kitten Crossing Rescue at the Auburn PetSmart. Chess and Checkers were returned to the rescue after their previous adopter faced health issues. This bonded pair must be adopted together. Chess is a gentle and curious cat who loves to explore her surroundings. She enjoys basking in the sun, especially from the comfort of a cat condo by the window. While very attached to Checkers, Chess adapts well to new situations and quickly warms up to people. She's affectionate, often curling up beside you or even sitting on your lap while you relax. When it’s playtime, Chess shines, especially when her favorite dangling fish pole toy is involved—she’ll chase and pounce with great enthusiasm! Chess is microchipped and comes house trained, making her a lovely addition to a kind home. If you’re interested in bringing Chess and Checkers into your family, please fill out an application today.
