About Lou

Lou is a total sweetheart who thrives on human companionship. She's happiest when she's around people, whether it's friends, family, or anyone else with two legs. While she hasn't shown much love for other pets, she did cohabitate with a small dog in her foster home—ignoring it most of the time before retreating upstairs. Lou found her way to us as an owner surrender, having been a beloved family member until a new kitten and dog came into the mix. Unfortunately, that situation limited her space to the basement, which led to some boredom eating. Now about 12 years old, Lou is the sweetest girl you could meet. She deserves a warm, loving home where she can move freely and live happily. No kitten antics or extensive training required; just a loving companion ready to chill with you. She's working on losing a few pounds under the watchful eye of her foster family, but otherwise, she's healthy and ready to find her forever home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
