Meet Stormi! Stormi is a sweet little girl discovering life after a puppy-mill environment. She's learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a real home. Her personality shines a little more every day as she navigates new experiences. This affectionate, gentle, and surprisingly independent pup loves being near her people without needing constant attention. While she enjoys curling up in her own bed, she can turn on the charm when it’s time for snuggles. You'll love her adorable snorts and snores, reminiscent of a tiny piglet, and her enthusiasm for balls and squeaky toys is infectious. She's getting the hang of playtime and is starting to master leash walking and car rides. Stormi has already learned some commands like 'sit' and 'down,' and she responds well to gentle correction. Due to her past, she can be easily startled, especially by quick movements. When this happens, she prefers retreating to her bed, her safe space. Stormi is a calm, quiet girl during the day and shows no signs of aggression. Potty training is still a work in progress, so her new adopter should be patient and consistent, as she may have accidents in the home or crate. A secure fenced yard is a must; this way, she can explore safely while gaining confidence. Stormi coexists well with other dogs and has experience living with both dogs and cats. She may also do well with children, but introductions should be handled carefully.
