He was rescued as a stray in New Mexico, where he was matted and had a wound on his eye, resulting in its removal. Since moving into foster care, he's been adjusting well, slowly coming out of his shell. Initially shy, Scout is warming up and enjoys playing with small squeaky toys and snuggling on the couch. Despite still being tentative about walks, Scout would thrive in a home with a yard where he can explore at his own pace. He's great with other dogs, especially if they’re confident companions. This sweet boy is food motivated; spray cheese is his favorite treat! With time, patience, and proper training, Scout has all the potential to be an incredible lifelong friend. He will require periodic grooming to maintain his curly coat and quality nutrition for optimal health. Farfel's Rescue requires that Scout’s new family commit to positive reinforcement or force-free training classes to help develop his social skills.
