About Curry

Meet Curry! This handsome ginger boy was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, and his journey hasn't been easy. Curry arrived at our shelter at just seven weeks old, battling a severe upper respiratory infection caused by feline herpesvirus. For a time, his future was uncertain. Thankfully, this little fighter overcame the odds and has spent the months since then thriving in foster care, learning what love and safety mean. While Curry is now healthy and happy, the infection left lasting effects. He may occasionally have watery eyes or sneeze, especially during stressful periods. However, these symptoms are manageable, and cats like Curry can lead long, fulfilling lives. Importantly, he poses no risk to humans or other pets, as feline herpesvirus is species-specific. For potential adopters with other cats, it’s vital to note that while Curry was once infected, he is not a constant threat. The virus can remain dormant, and vaccination of other cats can greatly reduce the chances of transmission. Curry truly deserves a loving home where he can continue his recovery and enjoy life to the fullest. He might not always look perfect, but he will surely do his best to be your best friend. This resilient cat is ready for the home he fought so hard to find.
