Nemo is a young male mixed-breed dog, estimated to be around 2-3 years old. He’s medium-sized and sports a medium coat in white and tan colors. Nemo is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. His loving personality shines through, especially in a friendly environment where he can thrive. He currently resides in Houston, TX.

About Nemo

Meet Nemo! Nemo has faced some tough times. He was discovered trapped inside an abandoned house, left without food, water, or electricity. The person caring for him couldn’t take him along when they had to leave, which put Nemo on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in. He has a small deformity in his front left leg, likely from being laid on as a pup, but vets confirmed it’s not something that needs fixing. Nemo gets around just fine on his other three legs and can even jump high to explore new things. He’s a playful pup, especially fond of his stuffed toys, and has formed a strong bond with his foster sister. Together, they zoom around, showing off their silly energy. While he’s still learning house training and how to chill out on his own, he settles nicely in his kennel at night. Nemo is highly food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat or meal. Nemo ideally needs a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods and where his playful spirit will be appreciated. He’s also undergoing treatment for mild dermatitis and is already seeing improvement. Nemo is a heartworm-negative, neutered male, estimated to be around 2-3 years old.
