Lucky is a large, senior male Hound who is altered and fully house trained. He is very treat motivated and has a loving personality. Currently located in Haw River, NC, Lucky eagerly seeks a family that can appreciate his playful spirit.

About Lucky

Meet Lucky! Don’t let his gray muzzle fool you—this sweet gentleman still has plenty of pep in his step. Lucky enjoys meeting new people, cuddling, and getting lots of affection. He loves going for car rides and is excellent with small children. Fully house trained and very treat motivated, Lucky hops into the car on his own and rides perfectly, even joining his foster for a 30-minute commute to work daily. He’s active and enjoys trotting around the yard or playing chase with his dog friends. However, Lucky needs a home without cats or livestock, as he tends to bark at them with interest. While he's not currently crate trained, he does well when loose in the home, as long as food and trash are kept out of reach. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, playful gentleman to join your family, Lucky would love to meet you!
