About Marigold

Marigold is a one-year-old tabby girl, navigating her way into trust and friendship. When she first arrived at her foster home three months ago, she was frightened and withdrawn. With the patience of her foster family, Marigold has begun to understand that she is safe and loved. A recent milestone involved her laying on her foster mom's stomach for a few seconds—an encouraging step for this shy girl. While she is a bit more reserved than her brother Jasper, Marigold is an absolute sweetheart. She has never used her claws on her foster family and adores belly rubs. Treats are her motivation, so tasty snacks are a surefire way to win her heart! Though she and Jasper enjoy each other's company, they are not bonded; she would do well either adopted with him or going into a home with another playful kitty. Marigold thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can take her time to come out of her shell. Patience is key, as she’s still discovering who she is and learning how wonderful people can be. The little breakthroughs she makes will be incredibly rewarding. If you’re ready to be part of Marigold's journey, she’s waiting for you! Click apply to start the adoption process.
