About Pennyworth

Meet Pennyworth, a young male orange tabby looking for a forever home. He arrived along with nine other cats after being cared for outside. Although initially a bit shy, heโ€™s gradually opening up to the staff and volunteers, especially with the help of tasty churru treats. Pennyworth might thrive in a home with another feline friend, but itโ€™s not a requirement. Having cohabited with a variety of aged cats, he could be a great match for a home that already has a resident cat, given a thoughtful introduction. He also has experience living with a young child. Pennyworth has shown reliable litterbox usage, and he may adapt well as an indoor-outdoor cat after some time indoors to acclimate. However, keeping him indoors only will likely offer him more safety. Currently, he's available for pre-adoption and is set to be neutered soon. Come meet him today at our Santa Cruz location, where you can fall in love before bringing him home! Our shelter hours are 11 AM to 6 PM, every day, and we recommend arriving before 4 PM if youโ€™d like to meet Pennyworth out of his kennel. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
