Higgins
AvailableHiggins is a young male Domestic Short Hair cat, medium in size. He has an orange coat and is not yet altered. He is looking for a loving home in Santa Cruz, CA, and has a reliable history of using his litterbox. Although he hasn't been neutered yet, Higgins's personality shows he has great potential to be a wonderful companion.
About Higgins
Meet Higgins, an adolescent male orange tabby ready to find his forever home. He arrived with nine other cats, having been rescued from a situation where they were being fed outdoors but needed more safety and care. Initially shy, Higgins has begun to warm up to staff and volunteers, especially when treated with patience and some tasty churru treats. Higgins could thrive in a home with another feline friend, but it’s not a requirement for adoption. He has prior experience living with various cats and a young child, suggesting he may integrate well with them after a gradual introduction. While he might adjust to being an indoor-outdoor cat after getting comfortable in a new environment, he could be just as content—and safer—indoors. His litterbox habits are reliable, and we don't have information regarding his experience with dogs. Higgins is currently available for pre-adoption and can go home after his neuter surgery. Come meet him soon and experience his sweet personality in person!
