Meet Matilda! This charming 3-year-old, 17-pound Border Terrier mix caught our attention after being found wandering the streets of South Texas. Thanks to a caring Good Samaritan, she’s now safe and ready for a loving home. With her adorable scruffy appearance and some unique hairless spots, it's clear Matilda may have a little Mexican Hairless Dog in her lineage. This little girl is not just a pretty face; she's potty trained, crate trained, and thrives on companionship. Matilda is loyal and affectionate, always happiest when she’s nestled close to her humans. Don't let her size fool you—Matilda has a big heart and a strong sense of duty. She will bark to protect her territory, but once she knows you’re a friend, you’ll quickly find a devoted companion in her. Good with other dogs and children, Matilda is also not known to have a prey drive, making her a suitable addition to various homes. With her past behind her, she’s now ready for her forever family where she can be spoiled and loved. Matilda is currently being fostered in South Texas, but we happily transport to approved adopters across the East Coast, Northeast, Midwest, and beyond. Out-of-state adopters are welcomed! Let’s give Matilda the loving home she deserves.
