About Mindy

Meet Mindy! Sweet Mindy was found injured and wandering alone. Upon her arrival at the rescue, she was immediately taken to the ER for a broken rib, bruising, and an infection on her hindquarters. Her coat had been badly matted, a clear sign of severe neglect. Now, Mindy has healed beautifully. She's a wonderful companion who loves being near her humans. Car rides are a favorite, especially when she can stick her head out the window. Walking her is a joy; she never pulls and enjoys accompanying you on long walks. Mindy is friendly to other dogs and craves a warm lap to lounge on or a cozy donut bed close to her people. While she has a tendency to steal food, which will require some training—especially if there are other pets around—Mindy is smart and learns quickly. She knows commands like sit, stay, and come, and even performs a cute poodle dance on her hind legs. Mindy is potty trained and can relieve herself on any concrete surface. She's affectionate with everyone and will approach strangers in the park. Mindy is vaccinated and chipped, and she will be spayed soon. Your new best friend is just one click away.
