Sweetie is a young, spayed female Boxer mix, approximately 1 year old. She is a medium dog with a short coat, currently located in Momence, IL. Sweetie is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and older children. Although her weight is not currently provided, she has made significant health improvements since her arrival at the rescue.

Sweetie has come a long way in just a month! Arriving in August with her newborn puppies, she was emaciated and struggled to produce milk. Thanks to a surrogate mom and a loving foster home, Sweetie has regained her health and is now ready for a fresh start with a new family. This lively girl is energetic and loves her toys, especially fetch. She enjoys being around her people and is more than capable of entertaining herself. Sweetie is eager to please and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is also good with older children, 10 years and up, as her excitement can lead to the occasional zoomie and an accidental bump to younger kids.
