About Baxter

Meet Baxter! This regal boy may take a moment to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, he proves to be a wonderful companion. He follows his person around, rubs against your legs, and greets you with a soft, chatty meow when you come home. Though heโ€™s discovering the joys of cuddle time, he prefers lounging nearby without feeling overwhelmed. Baxter can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises and may respond with the occasional hiss if unsure, but heโ€™s gentle and never aggressive towards his people. As such, heโ€™s seeking a home without children. Loves to play, Baxter enjoys wand toys and cat trees, and he likes to find high spots to observe his surroundings. He is litter box trained and keeps his beautiful, silky coat in great condition. Baxter has lived with other cats but prefers a quieter environment, ideally with male cats his age or younger. Heโ€™d also be happy as the sole cat in a home, enjoying his human's undivided attention. Baxter is looking for a patient adopter who can provide a calm space so he can decompress at his own pace. Once he learns to trust you, he reveals just what a sweetheart he is. He will be ready to go home after 9/23/26. Your new best friend is just one click away.
