About Ember

Ember is a delightful female Dachshund, weighing in at around 13.2 lbs. Born on March 5, 2022, she came to the Animal Rescue Foundation after her previous owner realized he couldn't provide the attention she deserved. Ember is now thriving in her foster home, where she enjoys the company of three other Dachshunds. However, she has a special bond with her foster mom, often found perched on the back of the couch, keeping a watchful eye while her mom works at her desk. Ember is doing well with her potty training and willingly goes into her crate each night, snuggling under her blankets for cozy, uninterrupted sleep. Although she’s a bit on the heavier side for her breed, she is quite a calm and gentle companion for a Dachshund. She gets along great with other dogs, making her a lovely addition to any home that can provide the affection and attention she craves. She has a $275 adoption fee, which includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. Every animal deserves a happy ending, and Ember would love to find her forever home.
