Meet Trixie! Trixie's adventure began when she and her three siblings were abandoned at just 6-8 weeks old. Arriving hungry, exhausted, and covered in fleas, Trixie has blossomed with the proper care into a joyful, energetic Dachshund mix, now four months old. Trixie adores people and is always eager to engage her furry friends in playful games, making her a perfect companion for a family with other dogs. After her play sessions, she's all about cuddling in your lap, showering you with kisses, and soaking up love. She’s food motivated and ready to learn, with potty training currently in progress. Trixie is comfortable in her kennel for up to six hours, although she'd prefer to have frequent breaks. Walking best in a harness, she’s a little firecracker with her sharp teeth, so supervision is essential during playtime. Trixie is good with dogs and children, but hasn't been introduced to cats yet. For her lively spirit, a home with a fenced yard would be fantastic but isn’t mandatory.
