Meet Brooklyn, a petite 1-year-old Lab mix weighing 33 pounds. She was found as a stray along with her siblings and initially faced a tough start in life. Thankfully, Brooklyn is now in a loving foster home where she’s learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. It took her no time to start showing off her sweet personality, becoming quite the Velcro dog to her foster mom. Brooklyn is friendly and happy, with a playful side that comes out when she’s around her toys. She's a serious chewer and enjoys shredding them, possibly due to the excitement of having toys of her own. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is indifferent to the cats in her foster home. Potty training is almost complete, and she's comfortably crate trained. Although she hasn't been around children yet, her foster mom believes she'd adapt well in a family setting. After a rough beginning, Brooklyn is ready to flourish in a loving forever home.
